About the Circuit

In 2019, the weather surrounding the Grand Prix was quite turbulent. Typhoon Hagibis swept across Japan on Friday night and Saturday before the race, bringing public life to a standstill. Despite the extensive damage in the country, the postponed qualifying session was fortunately able to proceed on Sunday morning, followed by the race a few hours later.

Only 3-day weekend tickets are available. Suzuka operates “Free Friday”, which means that on Friday you can sit in any grandstand you want, except the most expensive V2 upper grandstands. Individual seats are only offered in the main grandstand (V1 and V2).

All other stands offer stands without a backrest, so we advise you to bring a cushion.

Children up to 2 years old have free admission, but they do not have their own seat but must sit on your lap. Children's tickets (ages 3-15) are available for all stands. There are also discounted tickets available for young fans (16-23).

Below are some tips to simplify your choice:

Tribune B (1-2) turn 1, great for the start and plenty of opportunity for overtaking.

Grandstand Q (1-2) at the chicane before the final corner, a chance to see the cars take the low-speed chicane before the end of the lap.

Grandstand D (Zone 5 is the best) at the start of the 'S' bends with excellent panoramic views of the first part of the circuit.

Tribune C is a good middle class grandstand at the end of turn 2.

West Open Area seating in five separate areas around the Spoon Curve (G, L, M, N, O) including access to all grandstands on Friday.
